join us in celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Syrian Heritage Archive Project, a model project of the Museum for Islamic Art for the documentation of architectural and intangible cultural heritage in times of crisis, founded together with the German Archaeological Institute, administered by the Friends of the Museum for Islamic Art at the Pergamonmuseum e.V., and funded by the Federal Foreign Office and the Gerda Henkel Foundation.

Following the public performance of AZAD, we would like to invite you to a reception with refreshments, finger food and music in the Lion-Foyer. 

In addition, on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, we will host a networking meeting for our old and new partners working on Aleppo's cultural heritage - also on the occasion of our just published book on the traditional courtyard houses of the Old City of Aleppo. Participants will have the opportunity to network, discuss, and exchange ideas in a casual format with colleagues who have all been involved in Aleppo for a long time and have gained practical experience there.
